Southland Hot Shots FC is the premier soccer program in the Southland of Chicago however our coaches have years of experience in developing young athletes.

A 10-week Player Development League PLUS the Southland Hot Shots Cup;

Full uniform:  jersey, shorts and socks; Professional individual & team photo day, trophy, referees for each game, insurance costs, balls, equipment, nets, etc; rental and maintenance of the fields; banquet ceremony, coaches fees and more!

Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance at a scheduled Programs, for any unscheduled cancellation by site staff, or for any school, site or field closure due to Force Majeure Event (as defined in the Website Terms). Should you choose to withdraw Your Child(ren) from enrollment in any Programs, you may do so by providing written notice to us at info@hotshotsouthlandsoccer.com specifying Your Child(ren)’s name(s) and the Programs(s) from which you are withdrawing 10 DAYS BEFORE the scheduled program for a full refund. So long as such Programs has not been cancelled by us as permitted hereunder, in the Website Terms, or in the Special Terms, then if your written notice or withdrawal is received by us before the second (2nd) Programs of any Programs, you will be issued a pro-rata refund for remaining Programs left in such Programs plus a Fifty United States Dollars ($50 USD) administrative fee. If such written notice is received by us during or after the second (2nd) Programs of any Programs, no refund will be given. 

Registration for each Player is $310.00.

Late Registration for each player is $360.00.

Yes!  Each player and their parents are invited to an Awards Ceremony held a date TBD in November shortly after the Southland Hot Shots Cup.  Each Player MUST be accompanied by a Parent or a Legal Guardian.

This year’s Spring PDL season starts March 31, 2026  and Ends June 2026.  Practice for ALL players will be on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 or 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Markham.  All Games are played on Sunday only. Practices begin the first week in April 2026.

These ages are a guideline, as the date of birth is the defining factor.

Wonderful!  If you are interested in becoming a Southland Hot Shots FC Sponsor, please email us at info@southlandhotshots.com.  We offer affordable programs anyone can enjoy, however sometimes unforeseen circumstances prevent parents from achieving certain goals.  Your sponsorship helps them meet those goals.

NO.  Our teams are organized by an Ai, random draft.  This is done to ensure that there are an equal number of boys and girls, and a balance of each age which gets distributed evenly across all teams.  Due to this fact, we are unable to accept team request.  (The only exception is when siblings play in the same age division.)

Southland Hot Shots FC and the Markham Park District have a contractual relationship only for the use of their land.

Any child aged 4 years to 17 years!

Yes, boys and girls play together on the same team for the recreational program only.  Our JV and Varsity teams are divided into two groups:  male and female.

We provide balls for our players to practice with however if your child would like to bring their own personal ball please make sure it is marked with their name or other identifying mark however all players should have their own age-appropriate size ball, shin guards, soccer shoes/spikes (NO BASEBALL SHOES), and a full water bottle.  U5-U7:  Gym shoes or soccer cleats and comfortable athletic clothing.  U8 and above:  Soccer cleats and shin guards are REQUIRED and comfortable athletic clothing.

Yes! When we get our travel teams up and running , travel players will be comprised primarily of Southland Hot Shots FC recreational players.
